Gordon Vernon has been interpreting in performing arts venues since 1987. Some of Gordon's interpreting credits include: Beauty and the Beast, Aida, Shear Madness, James Joyce's The Dead, Good Night Opus, and Cyrano at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts; Rent, West Side Story, Chicago, 42nd Street, Mamma Mia, Fosse, Cats and Les Miserable at The National Theater; The Sound of Music, Annie, and Smokey Joe's Café at the Warner Theater; Macbeth, Henry IV, She Stoops to Conquer, and The Clandestine Marriage at Folgers Shakespeare Theatre; The Misanthrope, For the Pleasure of Seeing Her Again and Play On at Arena Stage; Fiddler on the Roof, Thoroughly Modern Millie and HMS Pinafore at Wolf Trap; and many other productions in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.
